How I built this site
I wanted this site to make my work easy to understand and straightforward to explore. I set the brief and reviewed the decisions. Claude helped develop the visual system and wrote the code for the original build.
What I wanted it to do
The site needed to work for someone considering me for a role and for someone looking for help with a project. It needed enough detail to make my experience credible, with clear routes into the work, my career and the tools I build.
I also wanted a simple technical setup, light and dark themes, and the AD signature I drew myself. The signature is the most personal part of the visual identity, so I kept it.
The strokes traced from my signature, and the finished mark. The tracing kept the order and direction of each stroke, so the signature can draw itself the way I write it.
My decisions and the AI contribution
I chose the positioning, the work to feature and the level of detail to share. I made the final decisions on the design and content, including where client work needed to remain discreet.
For the original version, Claude proposed the visual system, traced my signature into a vector and developed the page generator, styles and scripts. It also helped draft the first copy from my CV. I have since revised the wording with ChatGPT to make the site more precise and closer to how I speak about the work.

Technical details
A small Python script generates static pages from content files. The original build uses Python's standard library, with the site hosted on Cloudflare from a GitHub repository. The fonts are Archivo, JetBrains Mono and IBM Plex Sans Arabic.
The original version was designed without a front-end framework, tracking cookies or third-party scripts, with fonts hosted alongside the site.
